Today actually felt like Summer’s on it’s way!
Finally Ice cream season is coming back!
In preparation, check out this recipe for protein sorbet! I made this last year as a post gym snack to help me cool down! Ice cream makers are quite reasonably priced (well I think so anyway, I managed to snag one for about Β£25), so it’s worth picking one up, especially when the low-cal ice cream brands that have suddenly appeared charge Β£5 a pint!!!

Mango and Coconut Protein Sorbet
Ingredients
300g Mango chunks
400ml Coconut Water
1 Sachet of Whey Box Coconut Protein
2 tsp Stevia
Method
– Blitz all of the ingredients in the food processor until you achieve a smooth consistency
– Place the mix into the fridge and chill for around an hour
– Add the mix to the ice cream maker, around 10-20 minutes later it should be done!
If you’d rather a less ‘coconutty’ ice cream, substitute some of the coconut water for mango juice or normal water!

This sounds so good! Its the perfect excuse to finally use my ice cream maker thatβs been collecting dust. I look forward to seeing more recipes like this. π
